Mentha oil prices edged upward by 0.90 % to Rs 917.80/kg in futures trade today as participants got downward to creating fresh positions, supported by rise up in desired from consuming industries in the spot market. Furthermore, cramped arrivals from Chandausi in U.P. supported the upside. At MCX, Mentha oil futures for May 2015 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs. 917.80/kg, upward by 0.90 % after opening at Rs. 915.50 against the last closing price of Rs. 909.60. It touched the intra-day maximum of Rs. 919.50 till the trading.
